Gym - The Motivation

Wei Xiong feels satisfy with the
 result after 3 years of training.
Wei Xiong (student, 20) is a hard-core gym user. He started gym since he was 17, he goes to gym 5 days in a week.

The reason why he participates in a fitness programme is because he wanted to have leaner and bigger muscles. However, he didn't achieve his objectives after a month of hard work, so he went to ask around. He was told that the method was incorrect and would hurt him physically. Then, he consulted a new trainer and began his training sessions as well as get advice of protein related products. 


As a student, he had limited income and thus he had to save his pocket money for the gym. At first he register for the gym without the knowledge of his parents, but soon after his parents learned about it they provided him with the financial needed and mental support by paying half of the fees for him. “For me, I don't mind starving as long as I get to do things that I like, but now that my parents are supporting me partially, I can use that money to buy my protein shakes”, he said.


Wei Xiong then started to shed some light after two months of intense training by holding to his strong and firm principles stating he will not give himself any excuse to skip his training. If he falls sick on his gym day and he would replace it on another day even if it’s on a weekend. He would not want to allow himself to slack even the slightest bit because he believes that his hard work will go in vain if he had that kind of behavior.


Everyone has their own purpose

Gym is alternative for Yi Fen.
Besides of having leaner and bigger muscles, many people go to gym with all kind of different purposes. Yi Fen (student, 21), she said that she choose to go gym is because of the social security is just too bad so she dare not jog around the park alone, because of this gym is her alternative for exercise. 

Jimmy (23, student) go to gym because he cannot find any park install with weightlifting equipment where he can train his muscle. Even though he likes outdoor exercise but he will go for gym at least twice in a week for muscle training. “I will go for outdoor basketball, jogging and so on, but when comes to weightlifting gym definitely will be the first choice for me” , he added. 

Jimmy prefers to go gym for weightlifting.
