Keep Away from Internet Scams

If the trade involved the party based overseas, it’s difficult to get your money back in these situation.

Warning Signs
1.A product is advertised at a very low price.
2.The seller has a very poor rating and feedback.
3.The seller insists on immediate payment.
4.The online shopping website does not provide proper information about privacy, terms and conditions of use.

To Keep it Safe
Before purchasing, have a good look around the website you are buying from. There are certain features that online shops should have:

1.Information such as phone number, email address, bank account.
2.The cost of delivery and the way they send to you.

3.A privacy policy telling you what happens to any personal details you give.
4.The way of paying.The address bar at the top of the page will read ‘https://’ instead of just ‘http://’. The ‘s’ tells you that the site you used is secure.

As well as having a nice experience on online shopping, you should protect yourself from all sorts of scams. If you happen to become a victim of a fraud, there is nothing left than to report to the police. Be more aware of internet fraud and be a smart consumer.
